Drove from hotel, peed, set-up TA, ran a mile, biked 2 miles, swam just before the start to get used to the cold water.

Comments:

Good swim...I have difficulty getting my breathing normal when the water is cold. I probably breast-stroked here and there until the first boey. Then found a good rhythm. I did much betterthan White LAke two weeks a ago.
What would you do differently?:

Try to get my face in the water and get breathing underway right from the start. I seem to waste a bit of time every race getting in the groove.

Great race...Set-up always does a good job. It stinks that it rained so hard a the end...would have liked to hang out and see the awards and mingle a bit...but family was with me and we were all cold and soaking wet.
