  • Comments: Love this race, this is the only race I have ever placed at, small field but I'll take it. It was fun being so close to the other guys in my age group. When I look at the times we were within 10-15 seconds for most of the race. I missed first by 2 seconds!!! Of course the penalty that Navy guy got helped:)

  • Comments: Found Mary right before the finsh chute, stayed to cheer on some of the other people from our club. All in all a great weekend, we stayed at a condo for the weekend, what could be better than racing and staying at the beach!

  • Comments: This is a great race for someone looking for a short distance tri that's a little less than a full sprint tri. Its the perfect opportunity to practice transitions as well since you get 4 of them. Right before the swim Chris Hughes came up and said hi. GRATS CHRIS! GREAT RACE BRO! Raced in my BT 1 piece trisuit...first time I ever have done a one piece. The zipper was evil against my neck, but the rest of it was wicked comfortable (and I looked good too) heh heh.

  • Comments: This was the first race that I have ever placed in, I was very surprised! I might be on to something because I had no expectations going in other than trying not to throw up. Once the race started I felt fine, it was the most fun I have ever had racing, there was a couple of my friends that I have never beat and I could see that I was out in front of them, that helped me keep the pace up.

  • Comments: Great race...Set-up always does a good job. It stinks that it rained so hard a the end...would have liked to hang out and see the awards and mingle a bit...but family was with me and we were all cold and soaking wet.
