Felt pain in shoulders during swim. I felt better toward the end as I concentrated on long strokes.
What would you do differently?:

Work on keeping strokes longer. Try to draft in the pool more -- I did little drafting.

Run was good. I didn't eat ont he bike, and I felt it a bit during the run. I should have had 2-3 gels with me, that would have been fine.
What would you do differently?:

Eat gel on bike, as well as 1 at the beginning of the run.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Bike, mainly. This will improve later in the season, and with additional comfort on my bike.

Event comments:

Very good race. Waiting for my swim wave to start in the cold was terrible. Other than that, there were tons of volunteers to help direct racers through the course, and the post race spread was impressive. This is a collegiate race, so most of the participants were college kids (who obviously have much more time to train than I do).
