Comments:

Overall, good run. Ran the first 9 minutes out, then transitioned to 4/1 run/walk ratio. Kept to the plan, and then ran most of the last mile. The last 2.5 miles were a bit tough, but nothing different than any other race.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. It was a good race, and a lot of fun. Only thing I would change, is probably not drink as much the day before.
Post race
Warm down:

walked around the post race, had an orange and banana, drank some water.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

training. Longest run leading into the race was a 10 miler. Really limited myself by not putting in the proper training. Still happy with the performance.

Event comments:

The Seaside Half Marathon was a great destination race. A lot of fun. The out and back can be a little long, but overall a good supported and fun race.
