Pre-race routine:

Eat toast a couple hours before race.
Make sure I have enough clothing to stay warm
sunglasses, watch, bib number, running chip
Event warmup:

10 minute jog around the metrodome, went inside the dome to stretch, took powerbar gel and some water. keep walking moving to keep legs warm after I turn in my pre-race warmups.

Comments:

Felt good through 12-14 miles then legs began hurting. Needed more training to prep for a marathon.
What would you do differently?:

train more, stay with 3:40 group for a support group.
