Walked down to the start area, which was a very small dock. I didn't bring sandals which made walking through the gravel interesting.

Post race
Warm down:

stood under the shelter out of the rain and cooled down. the rain lightened up and I was able to change clothes but it rained heavily on the way to the car so I was soaked for the ride home.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Rain did not help, and the slight sighting error during the swim.

Event comments:

I would do this race again. I think it would have a lot different feel without the rain.
