Pre-race routine:

coffee, oatmeal w maple syrup, half a banana, low fat milk, water. Wake 5am, get on busses to start line.
Event warmup:

Walk to start line, but not much. Busses were running late!

Comments:

One of the best races I've ever run. Despite the race running out of Cytomax I managed on the calories I had carried two packets of chews. I am sure I didn't take enough calories in.
What would you do differently?:

Almost nothing. This race went perfectly. Had some GI distress before and during, am not sure if this was because of my elevated carb intake or travelling 4 hours by car. Next time arrive at race day prior to packet pickup, not the day before the race.

More calories? Not sure.

Event comments:

The only thing stopping me from giving this race a 5 was that the busses to the start line were late getting us to the start and most of the aid stations were out of Cytomax. the people were amazing, the city is beautiful, the course is scenic, and it's flat and fast,
