  • Comments: The race certainly had it's faults. It started late, they didn't train the volunteers to hand out ice, there was a lack of communication on the course about the shortening. The post race things were nice...free beer and a free jacket, but the signage was awful and we didn't know where anything was in the finishers area. We received a free entry to another RNR race due to the shortened course.

  • Comments: This race was cut short because of the heat. I was rerouted and only ran 24.2 miles.

  • Comments: I would highly recommend this race. It was very well organized, the crowds were supportive the entire course (except on highway), and the after party was fun.

  • Comments: The only way I could give this race the best rating is if the headline band played after everyone finished. I don't like that the headliner band hits the stage at 10:30am and everyone isn't even close to being done.

  • Comments: I though race day was run extremely well for a first time event (especially for the size - 25,000). Corrals worked well, aid stations well manned. Great crowd support, especially for the second half (except for the 4+ miles on the freeway). The only thing I didn't like was the miles on the freeway at the end. Tough spot to put the lonelist miles and the only real elevation changes on the course (and the headwind was brutal). There were some traffic issues getting to the expo but it wasn't too bad for us (although people coming late had miles backup).

  • Comments: The only thing stopping me from giving this race a 5 was that the busses to the start line were late getting us to the start and most of the aid stations were out of Cytomax. the people were amazing, the city is beautiful, the course is scenic, and it's flat and fast,
