Swim
Comments: Still don't have this swimming thing down, during my training I swim and feel somewhat confident and relaxed. During this swim I just felt like I was rushing and couldn't breath like I wanted, but overall I'm pleased since I passed two people. What would you do differently?: Continue to train maybe push on my training swims a bit more to get the feel of the race adrenaline. Transition 1
Comments: Dried feet off put socks and shoes on, eat a gu ad drank some water. What would you do differently?: Eventually I will get some clip on shoes for the bike, but for now I will do the socks and shoe thing. Bike
Comments: Probably could have pushed a bit more, but I was trying to save my legs a bit for the run since I cramped so bad in my first TRI... What would you do differently?: Continue to trian and push harder. Transition 2
Comments: Just took it easy so I could get my legs under me. Eat another GU and drank some more. What would you do differently?: Continue with training focusing on some bricks to get my legs use to the trainsiton. Run
Comments: All I can say is WOW... That is a 5K PR for me. I felt like I was running much slower. I did not cramp up at all so my stratagy work for that. What would you do differently?: Continue to train and improve and start to push my self a bit harder each time. Post race
Warm down: Just walked around streched alittle. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just my own ability, since this was my second ever TRI and my first one was a total mess. I'm very happy with the progress I have made and will continue to improve. Event comments: Second event for me and from what I have read Setup Events always does a good Job and they did it again.
