Felt good and strong, first ever for me! waited about 1min30sec for the group to get in and entered last.
What would you do differently?:

GET BETTER AT SWIMMING!! but i've come a long way!

Put shirt on b/c it was raining. Good push getting up the hill right out of mount area and had to dodge people that were leaving from watching the swimmers.

Wear transition lenses or clear ones, was a bit dark for sunglasses

decided to switch to dry socks, great idea, even though it added time!!! Didn't take water belt because it wasn't too hot. Threw 2 flasks in back of jersy, worked good.

First 10km was 59 min, so kept a pretty even pace. I am happy with it as i've never done this long of a run after this long of a ride!
What would you do differently?:

Wear my gps on the bike and turn it on close to transition so it was ready to go, then I can watch my pace better and know if I should pick it up or not.

Event comments:

Very very well organized, no lineups anywhere!! Lots of volunteers and aid stations. There is a reason why it's been on for 21 years!! Really good atmosphere and despite crappy weather was a great race!!
