Swim
Comments: I had a good swim, not great. Got bumped around a little bit at the beginning, but nothing crazy. I had not focused on the swim this spring - I had a good swim, not great. What would you do differently?: More training yardage Transition 1
Comments: I struggled with getting my wetsuit off What would you do differently?: Practice wetsuit removal Bike
Comments: I had a good bike ride. This is not my strength, so this was a big improvement for me from last year. Fair amount of traffic on the course - I got boxed in once and almost had to stop. What would you do differently?: Ride more! Transition 2
Comments: T2 was good, nothing bad. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: I had a really good run, my best triathlon 5k ever. I had trained for Boston this year, so my running was really strong. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Chatted with fellow competitors, walked, ate, rehydrated. What limited your ability to perform faster: T1 was a little weak. I need to ride more and improve my bike split Event comments: I had a really good race. This was an improvement of 4 minutes from last year and a sprint PR for me. I am very proud of 2nd place in my age group. Great way to start the tri season! Last updated: 2012-01-22 12:00 AM
