Run
Comments: Even though there were tons of people, I didn't find it to be too congested where I was since I was in the "A" corral...good place to be! The only thing that may have affected my time with the crowds was not being able to hug the corners as we turned streets, which I doubt is a big deal. Before the race I told myself to go out at 6:20/mi pace and hold it as long as I could. None of this going out way too fast in the first mile...it doesn't work! So I held on to that pace all the way to the finish. It seemed easy in the beginning but it got pretty tough just after mile 3. But the pace didn't leave me tired enough to slow down so I ended up finishing in my stretch goal time! What would you do differently?: I can't say I'd do anything different. I felt I executed a perfect race by pacing all the way from the beginning to the end. Post race
Warm down: Walk around looking for friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nada! Event comments: Had a great time at the post-race party! I'd say mainly because of hanging out with friends, but gotta love free beer! Last updated: 2012-02-22 12:00 AM

Oatmeal, eggs, water and coffee for breakfast around 5:30am. Had to drive to FedEx Office to print up our parking pass and then head to downtown for the race.
Pretty much just ran from the outside the parking lot to Buckingham Fountain, about a half mile.
