  • Comments: This event is very well organized; especially considering 33,000 people ran the course. Running downtown Chicago with a lot of spectators is a wonderful experience!

  • Comments: I haven't been in many races but this seems like a great one. I was able to feed off the huge group of people running and keep myself going. There were a lot of volunteers with water/gatorade, volunteers were cheering the runners on a lot, there was a live band after the race at the post-race party. While running I was able to feed off the group and keep myself going.

  • Comments: It took a WHILE to cross the start line at the beginning...but I guess when you're running with 30,000 of your friends - it would! Beer line was long...but line at the parking garage was even longer - took us about 45 minutes to get out the garage..wished I would've gotten my free beer :-(

  • Comments: This race is about as organized as an event this large can be. Although it's really crowded, I still like doing it. The weather was a mess this year, but I still had fun and would definitely sign up again.

  • Comments: The "Rate this race" number is low, not because it was a bad event, only because the weather was so awful. I BEAT MY 2008 TIME BY ALMOST A WHOLE MINUTE. This is with the poor running/weather conditions. My 1/2 Marathon training is really helping me out this year.

  • Comments: The race was fun because I got to see a lot of BTers. If you aren't in a seeded corral however, it's a race to do for fun, but not one to do for a PR. The crowds are huge. It's a great course through the downtown area though and one of those big Chicago races that it seems like you just have to do every once in awhile.
