Don't conserve too much energy, my first tri I was worried I would be too tired to bike/run after swimming too hard

put bike closer to exit gate, hard to find after swim confusion (light headed)

Cycling is my strongest discipline, on men's aluminum Allez with upgraded parts/rims. Passed a lot of people, nobody passed me. At a sharp turn the volunteer was afraid I'd lose control as I hit it fast and hard, but I was confident.
What would you do differently?:

rent a tri bike w/ aero bars and helmet. Maybe learn how to mount cyclocross style and have shoes already clipped to pedals.
