Swim
Comments: Again, I couldn't find anyone to draft off of. Water temp felt comfortable and I felt like I was moving faster than this. 2nd fastest swim in the AG though behind Shelly so I'll take it. :) What would you do differently?: Same thing I should do in every swim leg - push harder. Transition 1
Comments: In and out. 2nd in AG. Bike
Comments: Knew the course well from riding it a bunch the day before so tried to push it the entire time. Transition 2
Comments: Efficient T2 (helped to wear bib during the swim and entire race). Run
Comments: Was warmer today than the day before and I dumped water on my head at every aid station. It helped to know I only had to run 1 loop of the course and made it easier to keep the gas pedal down. Got passed in the final stretch and I had nothing left to give. The girl was faster than me and I didn't have the kick to give her a chase. After the race, I thought her calf read 32. It must have read 38 since I got beat by :03 seconds. What would you do differently?: Have a kick for the end. :) Post race
Warm down: Ran 3 miles or so with Katie after the race to get mileage in. Hung out in the tent and waited for the awards since I placed. Event comments: Great post race food. Was again amazing to have the team there racing and spectating and have the tent in a prime location. Set Up does a great job with their events. And I had a 4 minute PR from last year's sprint. :) Last updated: 2012-04-10 12:00 AM

Another 10 am start. Packed up the house and drove to the race site. Set up TA and hung out in the tent. Was WAY more relaxed this morning than the day before.
Donned the wetsuit and walked to the lake.
