Comments: Some jerk pulle me to a dead stop just prior to first turn on swim. Couldn't breath bi-laterly like I normally do due to a slight neck muscle cramp Transition 1
Comments: Smooth and unusual Bike
Comments: Drank 5 bottles and really hydrated for the run. This was so important to do. So many people bonked on the run because they didn't hydrate on the bike. The morning was very cool with a fog and I think people were not drinking cause of it. What would you do differently?: pedal faster. gotta work on getting my rpm higher. Transition 2
Comments: Only got one foot out of shoe that I left on bike. Too late getting ither foot out. Had to unclip. What would you do differently?: Get out of shoes farther ahead of dismount. Run
Post race
Warm down: Took a long long long time for my HR to come down below 100. Kinda scary. Woke up at 4am. half pb&j sandwich, half banana, half redbull. See a pattern here ;-)
Walk to start, run in place, light jog thru camp grounds, light stretch. One gel pack 45 mins prior to swim, then one 15 mins prior.
