  • Comments: Swim w/gators, bike w/oranges, run w/hills. Good race - had been hoping to be closer to 4:20, but it's the first race of the season. LINK to Race Report: http://262toboylstonstreet.blogspot.com/2016/04/florida-703-report....

  • Comments: This was my first race using UCAN Superstarch and was able to finish the whole race just on the starch and a banana--during the run. The stuff worked quite well and I never felt as though I was going to bonk. Lots of energy on the bike and through most of the run. No GI distress at all. Will continue to use it, but for the IM I am going to have to think about additional fueling during the run.

  • Comments: Loved this event so much I believe I'll have to do it again next year. My youngest sister lives down there as well as my parents. My other sister was there for the event and told me she'd attend any other IM event they had. She and her dog Nikki had a great time.

  • Comments: Great race. Only real problem that they may be able to address is having road construction finished on 1 mile of run section by next year. Would they consider reversing the bike course? Would that alleviate traffic issues or head-wind during the last section - I'm not sure - but it's just a thought I had. We pay a premium to race a WTC - M-Dot branded race. These guys do it pretty darn well. Moving thousands of people - racers and spectators - is pretty tough. These guys did a pretty darn good job of it.

  • Comments: I think the WTC could have done some thing different considering the size of the event. I really wish they was still in Disney it was a much better ride and run. Swim wave could be adjusted to larger AG first. In all it was a OK race and I had a pretty good time. Might do it again , might not.

  • Comments: For my 1st HIM the swim and bike was pretty good, my run wasn't, wasn't able to show what I'm capable of on the run, will need to improve my muscle endurance, temp was a factor a I got sun burned, will need to put sun screen on next time, need to better understand how my body uses nutrition

  • Comments: Overall a good venue. My only complaints were the parking situation was bad, no sunscreen at aid stations and no bottles available at start. Seems pretty minor considering the enormity of the event.

  • Comments: This was a fantastic race. The race site is great, the activities at the village were awesome. There were so many great volunteers and aid stations were well supplied. Everything was extremely well organized and timely. It is definitely a race I would recommend and would do again.

  • Overall course based on my ability: Too hard

  • Comments: This race was very organized and well put on. The support of the local community was great, from boy scout troop 84 dressed up like super heroes at their water station to the local police offering encouragement on their bullhorns. That being said Central Florida the third weekend in May is hot, hilly, sunny, humid, and not shady. Very challenging race, my wife had the temp at 95 degrees although I'm not sure if it was that hot. I didn't apply enough sunscreen and got badly burned around my tri-suit. The run was absolutely miserable for me but I feel like I accomplished something by finishing this race (even if my time was almost an hour slower than my 70.3 PR at Augusta),,,

  • Comments: This is good race. The water is murky, but I hear it's an extremely "clean" lake. The bike course is nice with only a few rough roads. It has some challenging hills, but nothing to bad. The run is a good set up. It does have some hills to contend with. The major challenge with this race is the time of year it is put on. The heat is what makes this such a challenging race.

  • Comments: I was much more impressed with this year's venue and expo over last year. I thought it was better organized as well. The volunteers were great as well as helpful and I don't think they are ever given the respect they deserve as they are out there longer than any competitor, cheering on everyone who swims, bikes, or runs by. They truly make the race successful! Also a kudos to all the neighbors and their encouragement throughout the race! Other Notes: Rankings based on total finishers.

  • Comments: Great venue. I heard from multiple people that this was way better than the old Orlando location. I'd highly recommend this race to anyone. Still reasonably close to Disney, too. :)

  • Comments: I really did have the time of my life!! Loved it! And as I was writing this report, I loved how even things that in the past would have been not so good for me, I was able to say they were GOOD ... because mentally, I was exactly where I needed to be! I AM A 70.3 FINISHER!! And I love Infinit! LOL

  • Comments: I'll go back. Great race for a first time race. Nothing wrong with the course, actually it was pretty good. Great spectators and community support. It was neat seeing the spectators 3 times on the run. Last time around telling them "thanks and we'll see you next year". Other than the food tent it was a great time.

  • Comments: Plenty of room in Transition for my stuff/bag. Liked the Transition bathrooms. Didn't see bathrooms on bike course. Not sure but a good idea to check before I race next time -- you never know. Swag bag, medal, and finisher hat and T-shirt were great gifts. Venue, shops, check-in were fantastic. Parking, while everywhere, was a bit of a challenge.

  • Comments: Didn't like the long transition areas. Had to be bused to and from event, which add to the stress of check-in and race day.
