Pre-race routine:

Coffee, gorp and gatorade for breakfast - sat in traffic, stood in mob for swim, - swiped drinks out of the motor home.

Did okay in the start and then was panicing, dog paddled alot and then finally calmed down enough to swim the last third.

Practice more open water swimming

Boy I had no clue about transition techniques. Should have gone to expo on this the night before!!! Took my time, no major problems and had a good time.

Practice using the camel back - did not realize you need to bite so hard to get water out.

Panic in the water
