Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 6am hung over from my birthday party..... got dressed and rode my bike to the race

I guess my ride over to the race was my warm up..... or maybe it was the 12 beers from last night that warmed me up....

I signed up for the race the day before just because a couple of buddies were doing the sprint.... When I went to sign up the told me they were sold out but I talked them into letting me at least do the mini.... That was pretty cool of them... I haven't trained since Ironman Arizona but the race was in my home town it was short and I figured what the hell... I would not have drank so much the night before if I really thought I had a chance to make the podium..... oh well it was my b-day...
