Rode about 3 miles, did a few pickups, rode up god awful hill. Ran about a mile with some pickups. Swam 100yds

New cleats helped. Clipped in fast. Had a long run to the bike, but ran fairly well.

Rode fairly well. Was hoping for 21 or better. Almost. Could have pushed a little harder.
What would you do differently?:

Push harder on the bike. To worried about being too tired on the run. Keep doing the interval work.1

Not much more I could have done. I was whipped at the end.

Super nice race, nice town. Will definitely go back. Don't make the mistake of thinking that this will be a flat coastal course.

Course: Had a good bit of shallower water before 300yds started. Did the dolphin dive thing for a while then started to swim. Stroke and navigation were better this race. Lack of swimming affecting speed.
