It was VERY choppy. Many quit this year during the swim.

Walked to line with shoes already on. I was faster than last year, but I did not have to take off my shoes. I swam without my shirt. It took me some time putting that on.
What would you do differently?:

Will do that differently next time. Will have shoes on bike prior to the event. Need a different shirt that doesn't have the rear pocket so I can swim with it already on.

I wanted to get the distance done in 3 hours; however, I was generally pleased considering how windy it was.
What would you do differently?:

Just get stronger on the bike. Get my average speed faster.

Warm down:

Walked to get my gear and walked to vehicle to exit race area.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I was tired after the bike. Mentally, I was stronger this time, but physically I still can improve.

Event comments:

I have only participated in this 70.3. It seems well organized and runs smoothly. I have not had any issues with the race.
