A really long run (.25 mile) from the beach up the hill to transition. I handled it better than most though as I passed a lot and don't remember getting passed.

They really were not keeping an eye on this course for rules as I had a guy sit on my rear for the entire ride. He even said to me, "Its a lot easier when you're drafting!" Other than that, I lost my water bottle right after taking a gel pack so I spent most of the ride with a severe case of dry mouth!
What would you do differently?:

Keep hold of my water bottle!

Stomach was really upset when I started until about mile 2. I probably started out too quick as well since I had to walk a little at each water station to make sure I got the water in. Finished strong.

I don't think I'll be back for this next year as I reallywas turned off by the wierd swim and long run to T1. The bike ride was really crowded but maybe won't be next year since I'd be starting sooner.

Course: This was a shoreline swim designed to help beginnners (like me) feel comfortable. But the organizers didn't know there was an infalatable walkway constructed across the course which led to a bottleneck about 75 yards into the course. There was also a boat parked in the middle of the course so that made for fun dodging.
