Comments: Put shoes on first , had trouble clipping in. What would you do differently?: Practice hopping on bike with shoes already clipped in pedals Bike
Comments: Took first mile to get up to speed and the one and only hill. Kept about 20mph pace in aero until last mile back to transition where it was mostly turns and tight corners. What would you do differently?: Practice turns and cornering then getting back up to speed? Learn the different gears. Still have no idea what's the difference between all of them. Transition 2
Comments: Had to go to an almost dead stop gettIng off. Had trouble taking garmin off bike and putting on wrist strap, fell off on start of run and had to stop to pick up. What would you do differently?: Practice doing everything more efficently. Run
Comments: Legs felt wobbly, started to cramp up. Wanted to do a 6:50min/mi What would you do differently?: More brick workouts Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim tired me. Legs didn't feel great after run Event comments: Distance were shorter then the advertised 500m/20k/5k s/b/r. Post race had lots of food and drinks. Put up times almost immediately. Didn't get to stay for awards so I had a friend who did the race pick up my 2nd place plaque. Last updated: 2012-08-07 12:00 AM
