Comments: I need to work on my pacing. Too often I had to stop my freestyle and go to breast stroke. I could pick up a couple of minutes if I just paced properly. Transition 1
Comments: I need to learn how to put the shoes on while riding (e.g. rubberband them on the pedals). I am sure I am losing 30 seconds to a minute putting shoes on. I also need to look at going sockless. That took up some time. What would you do differently?: clip shoes on bike, go sockless. Bike
Comments: I took it easy until I got on 563, which was smart. I've burnt myself out trying to go to fast too soon up hills, and this time I felt great. What would you do differently?: I need to push harder and train harder. I could have done better, I was too conservative on the bike. Transition 2
Comments: This was a pretty quick transition for me. It went well and I've gotten faster since using those bungie type laces that don't require tying. Run
What would you do differently?: I need to get a tri specific suit. My clothing is a little heavy. Mother nature called during the run and I lost two minutes in the loo. Not sure what I could do about that, but I certainly felt faster after. Post race
