Swim
Comments: Swim felt really good compared to last tri. Swim mostly all freestyle, only breaststroke to sight when I got confused. I could have pushed harder (kicked and pulled), put I'm happy with the results. What would you do differently?: Kick and pull a little harder. Transition 1
Comments: It was cold coming out of the water so I had to towel off and put on my socks and jacket. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Due to the rain and cold, I did the best I could. The first lap I was so cold. What would you do differently?: No triathlon in October lol Transition 2
Comments: Feet were frozen! Run
Comments: 6 miles in my foot started cramping bad, then my whole right legs including hip flexer. I guess I need to try salt tablets. I was hoping to go under 2 hours but with the cold and my leg I was happy to finish and not walk at all. Post race
Warm down: Rev3 probably recovery boots which was great but it was so cold out that after 15 minutes I needed to find heat before I ended up in the med tent. What limited your ability to perform faster: Cold, rain, and cramping leg. Event comments: I heard Rev3 put on good events, but this seemed kind of lacking. Maybe because officially it wasnt there event or the rain and cold. Last updated: 2012-10-08 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5:00am and arrive at the event around 5:40, good thing because there were alot of cars.
HIM wave didnt start until 8:30 so went to setup transition area then headed back to the car to stay warm for the next hour and a half.
Waited until I got down to the start around 8:30am to do my normal warm up routine of air squats, jumping jacks, arm swings, and high knees. It was cold so I didnt want to warm up to early.
