Swim
What would you do differently?: Swim form needs help. My cousin took a picture - my head was way out of the water and my recovery stroke looked pathetic! But the swim felt good and made me feel confident after a tough run and bike. Transition 1
Comments: This was actually Run to Bike Transition. Bike
Comments: Did 6.20 miles in 35:56. It was a tough 2 mile start up a hill and I had to walk .5 miles to the top. The rest was a breeze - except I turned on Mountain on the return to T2. Which should be a DQ! What would you do differently?: Don't make a wrong turn. Transition 2
Comments: This was actually Bike to Swim Transition. Run
What would you do differently?: Decent run for me. I need to train to get faster. Post race
Event comments: Fun tough race. My Transition times were actually better than usual I think: Run to Bike (T1) = 1:40, Bike to Swim (T2) = 2:32. To bad it doesn't count for anything though. I spoke with the RD Bob Vincent about my mistake and told him I should be DQ'd. He said the 'times' were already submitted and unless I won an award not to worry about it. Of course I DID NOT win an award. And my time will reflect 1hr 12min but that is incorrect! So I OFFICIALLY DQ MYSELF! :) Last updated: 2006-06-07 12:00 AM
