It was cold! I never got my breathing down, found my stroke or got into a rhythym. I struggled - it was not my best swim.
What would you do differently?:

I should have worn a full suit or another layer under my sleeveless. I was cold!

This was my first race with my new tri bike. My time was not really an improvement over previous years, but relative to the field I improved. Tough conditions, it was windy and cold.

Ride more, especially hills.

I had a great run. I was trying to get on the podium and ran like crazy to catch the 3rd place guy in my AG. I finally caught him near the finish. I let it all go during the run.

This is my hometown race and I really like the venue. I gave it my all and was very proud to get 3rd in my AG. My run was very strong.
