Pre-race routine:

Ate bagel with jam and drank water. Also ate half of a chocolate bar.
Event warmup:

Ran 1.4 miles on my own and did a few strides.

Comments:

I didn't have much gas. I don't know why but I was running pretty slow compared to how I usually run.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe train differently? Run more the weeks leading to a big race like that. The only problem was I didn't know I was going to run it until late.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Run more maybe? I am not sure. The trails were a little too technical for me.

Event comments:

Very well organized race. I would do it again for sure if I can train properly. I would love to smash my time and beat the 12 year old girl that beat me by 2 seconds. She ran a 1:23 half marathon recently so she is for sure faster than me!
