Bike
Comments: overall it was not a bad bike for me. Being in the lead gave me a bit too much adrenaline and i tried to hold it for two long. my legs were burnt out by mile 45. I need to find the right balance in nutrition. Next time i need to carry some bottles of water instead of all drinks loaded with sugar/salt. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I had severe stomach issues and dehydration which cause cramping and stomach pain. This was a great learning lesson for me. I have a lot of work to do to compete at this distance. Post race
Event comments: Several aid stations were already run out of cold towels or water on the way back. I can't imagine what the people finishing behind me had to deal with. Myself and several friends had the run at 13.7 miles. While the RD tried to make light of it, I didn;t find it quite as funny.
