Comments:

Legs felt fine when I got off the bike and started to run. It was the cramping under my rib that was an issue.I didn't really care about what I was doing on the run so I walked most of the hill portions. It was extremely hot and I had pms cramps and a rib cramp. Aunt flow came to visit about mile 6. Never happened before in a race. Good thing the chamois pad doubles for another pad! The most painful thing of all was my timing chip was chaffing the heck out of my ankle. Never, never again will I wear the race provided one.
around mile 3 was the worst hill and then later on the hills were gravely and uneven. ick!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

heat and hills

Event comments:

the people that put this on did an awesome job. I love Wegmans grocery store. They sponsored the food and man was it good! The aid stations were great and they had kids on the streets spraying people down if they wanted it. I walked through all the aid stations and walked most of the hills. I started taking in coke about mile 6 or 7 and went to bananas. I'm going to stick with that from here on out. I really think the coke works!
