Swim
  • 11m 24s
  • 440 yards
  • 02m 35s / 100 yards
Comments:

Swim was my open water swim...what else can I say... I suck, but I am getting better.

I actually felt the best i have in open water. A lot more comfortable, so it's coming.
What would you do differently?:

Practice Practice Practice.
Transition 1
  • 02m 50s
Comments:

got stuck getting my shoes into my pedals, other than that I did okay. Still have to work on cutting down my T1 time.
What would you do differently?:

Practice. Need to figure out a system.
Bike
  • 1h 13m 59s
  • 22 miles
  • 17.84 mile/hr
Comments:

Did pretty good for my second tri. Felt good on the bike, ought with myself quite a bit to keep the pace up, but overall I averaged a mile an hour faster than i did at trinity, so A+ performance in my books.

On another note, I felt I did very well focusing in the last half of the bike. Really got into a rythym.
What would you do differently?:

I need to get in more time on the bike, Continuous speed is an issue with me, but I am increasing in speed, so not too many complaints.
Transition 2
  • 00m 37s
Comments:

UNBELIEVABLE.... I PLACED 3rd OVERALL ON MY T2. I swear that will never happen again. My trans with FLAWLESS... well, almost. I turned out of the trans and started running and realized I forgot my helmet!. Luckily a spectator grabbed it for me and put it back by my bike!
What would you do differently?:

Helmet... that's it.
Run
  • 28m 33s
  • 5 kms
  • 05m 43s  min/km
Comments:

Tough tough tough. My legs are still EXTREMELY tight getting off of the bike, my first couple of miles were in the 9's or 10's for time. Not sure what to do about that.
What would you do differently?:

Stay away from the sport beans, pain in the neck and WAY too sweet for my own good. GU pack next time.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

My legs after the bike, and limited training time. Also i have not kept up wiht my logs over the last couple of weeks so wasn't sure if I was adequadetly prepaered for this race.

Event comments:

Good race... One step closer to Wisconsin. next stop, Winneconne
