Comments:

This was an incredible experience. I have never done a swim anything like this before. I felt good the entire time, faded a little bit over the last 1 - 1.5 miles. Current started to pull us a little to the right near the end, but not too bad.

I tried to treat this like an experience rather than a hard core race. I think I could have pushed harder and gone a little faster, but never having gone this far I tried to pace myself a little. There were a LOT of great swimmers there and I'm proud of my performance.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing.
Post race
Warm down:

Ate, showered.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Swim technique and my training yardage was probably a little low for this event.

Event comments:

Very, very well run event with tons of support on the water. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a memorable open water challenge.
