Swim
Comments: I felt my breathing totally off as if I could start to panic at any minute. But I just tried to keep my head in the game and remember that I can stand at any point LOL. What would you do differently?: Maybe try to start further up front - this group was all women and none of them felt like confidant swimmers. Transition 1
Comments: No comment. Good transition. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: The bike course was good. I knew I had to leave some in the tank for the run - but I put everything I could into that hill. It's pretty cool to see the pictures of me coming up the hill seated and the dude in the tri bike behind me suffering :) What would you do differently?: Nothing! Transition 2
Comments: When your one of the first women back and there are no other bikes on the rack it's easy to rack! Run
Comments: This will always be my nemesis. However, this is the first PAIN FREE run and POST RUN without pain I can remember in a long time. I'm really excited at the prospect of this tendinitis thing being over (with ongoing maintenance). What would you do differently?: Maybe now I can train to run!! Post race
Warm down: No real warm down. I should have jumped in the lake for the cool water but I was just walking around talking to friends. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just my lack of training. Event comments: Only this - I'm really tired of events that don't stock WOMEN specific jerseys. AND the ones that don't, need to carry extra smalls. I have a collection of event shirts I will never wear. Sounds like a picky thing (and a first world problem) but I paid for that?! Come on!! AND I'm not the smallest woman in the group by a long shot! Last updated: 2013-07-14 12:00 AM

This one was about an hour away. Got up - ROLLED with my PVC and stretched for 20 minutes, had breakfast, got dressed, packed the car and OUT the door!
Swimming around the lake - no real yardage to speak of.
