Swim
Comments: Nice swim course. The boat ramp for the entrance and exit was extremely slick though What would you do differently?: Nothing Transition 1
Comments: I don't put my shoes on while on the bike, I just can't seem to manage that balancing act. What would you do differently?: nothing Bike
Comments: The roads were a little rough and bumpy in some places. There was no support, but we only covered 12 miles, so it wasn't really missed. What would you do differently?: It's the same story for the entire season. I need more training on the bike! Transition 2
Comments: I cannot handle pulling my feet out of the shoes while the bike is moving, so this will always be a little slow for me What would you do differently?: I think I need the quick laces for my tri shoes Run
Comments: I wasn't really trying to put on a full effort, just wanted to use this as a training run. The run course was very nice though. Just the one water stop and they weren't really handing out the cups What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Stretched myself out and walked around for awhile. Got some food and drink and then went to change clothes and hang out for the day. Realized once I checked that I ended up in 4th place in my age group! If I had realized I was so close, maybe I would have pushed harder.... What limited your ability to perform faster: This was a last second sign-up that I only wanted to use as a last training session before my half iron in Michigan the following week. Event comments: Very nice job by the race organizers, especially given that they were managing three tri's at the same time! The awards were very cool and original. Last updated: 2013-07-29 12:00 AM

None, signed up the morning of the race because my wife was doing the half iron there and it seemed like a good way to kill an hour or two.
