Pre-race routine:

Forgot my wetsuit at home - paced on the beach while my wife thankfully went back and then ran it down to me 30 seconds before my wave went off.

Comments:

Broke my goggle strap just before the wave start, finally got something rigged up and went. Swim actually felt pretty good for the first time in a full wetsuit. Was not pushing it too hard and the time reflects it. Time does include a 1/2 mile run on the beach back to transition which is unique for this race.

Event comments:

Nice beach town race that gets a tremendous level of competition. Pretty surprised at the quality AG racers here. Well organized but results were kind of slow and had to get off to coach our girls soccer tournament so never knew I placed until later in the day.
