  • Comments: Nice beach town race that gets a tremendous level of competition. Pretty surprised at the quality AG racers here. Well organized but results were kind of slow and had to get off to coach our girls soccer tournament so never knew I placed until later in the day.

  • Comments: Not very well organized. Poor transition area with no security or checkout for bikes. Run course is a "double" loop and it is not clear on how many laps you do nor is there anyone able to assist. Some people ran too few the year before…I ran too many. Lost out on top 10 finish in age group due to run course.

  • Comments: With the beach run, they need to synch the schedule with the tide table so there is more hard sand for the run.

  • Comments: Great race!! Cool activities!! ran with my friends Karl and Tara- just awesome to see them both do so well...Tara placed third in her age group!!! Tim Kerr was a class act!! Lots of great goodies...I should have stuck around longer and really enjoyed it, but with a 8 month pregnant wife and my foot, I just wanted to get in the car and get back...Next year: make arrangements to stay down and enjoy the whole day and evening...

  • Comments: Would do it again next year. Especially great to not have to travel and to have my whole family there cheering. Looking back, I'm proud of how far I've come since January, when I could only run 1/2 mile straight. I've got the tri bug now; the sky is the limit.

  • Comments: Good race besides the short run. Since it is my first, I don't have too much to base my judgement on. Seemed like they gave away a lot of free stuff. I'm used to 5ks where all you get is a cotton t-shirt. Definitely will do this one again next year!

  • Comments: This race is awesome. It closes at 350 entrants so it was a very small race, but the competition was pretty crazy. I was in a heat with the elites and they looked awesome. The food was awesome and they were giving away a $4000 Fugi bike. The only gripe I have is that the ocean water temperature was 54 degrees. They cannot really change that though. I had a lot of fun!

  • Comments: Super well organized. Course was challenging with the ocean swim, long T1 run-up & beach run. And there is always a strong breeze along the beach. Even with three 4.0mi loops, there was not much drafting. It was nice to constantly see the draft marshall cruising the course & writing down race numbers. A great race, I highly recommend it.

  • Comments: For the first year of this race...man they did a great job. Tons of help at the race, very well organized. Great prizes for winners, steel band, plenty of great food. Great security for bikes. Just a great race. I will do this year after year. Loved it.
