Warmup? It was FREEZING! I just tried to stay as loose as possible by bouncing in the crowd.

Warm down:

Not much - walked back to the car, and then stood over the stove making a great pot of chili for the day.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Building a base for my first tri and not focusing on the pace.

Event comments:

Staff and volunteer's did an excellent job on the 1/2.

Performance: Good
Started out fast, figured it out after about mile 2, and set a 10/min mile pace all the way to mile 10. The climb into Myers Park hurt, and dropped to a 11/min mile. Was able to make it up on the last two miles of the event, finished really strong.
Course: Course was great, a bit of a climb to the end, but great course.
