Took the shuttle bus from North Wildwood to Cape May for the start

Comments:

Tried to take it easy and manage the race. Started out with 8:15 miles through about 15 mies and then went to 8:30 per mile but eventually after mile 20 started to lose time and slowed to 9:30 per mile. Never felt totally stressed and considering no runs over 17 miles in training because of injury setback in January felt pretty good above mile 20.
What would you do differently?:

Need to find the correct pace - probably could have went a little harder in the beginning, gave up more than 10minutes in the first 20 miles to my last marathon

Felt pretty good after race and way better than last marathon

Event comments:

Very small crowd probably because it was 27 degrees at he start with 15 mph winds, times were well-off from previous year, enjoyed the race but should have went out harder and pushed more to get below 3:50:00 which was the goal.
