  • Comments: Very small crowd probably because it was 27 degrees at he start with 15 mph winds, times were well-off from previous year, enjoyed the race but should have went out harder and pushed more to get below 3:50:00 which was the goal.

  • Comments: This was a great smaller race. Unfortunately, the Jersey Coast is dead this time of year. Too cool to enjoy the water. Everyone was very friendly, hte event was well organized, lots of aid stations with friendly volunteers. Post race spread was adequate. My only gripe was the 9AM start. THe shuttle buses left the finish area at 7:15 for a 9AM start, so we were at the start by 7:45 with >1 hr to kill. They didn't let us stay on the warm bus, so people were hanging out in the 30deg cold wind for a long time. May be they could push that back 30 min or so. And the website wasn't updated after Dec 2012. Minor details, only, overall it was a good event.

  • Comments: It was ok, the aid stations only really offered water and some orange water they called G2, but live and learn......at least I finished

  • Comments: Some good: 1. I prefer point-to-point courses, though they should reverse and run south. 2. Started right on time. 3. Good expo for a small race. Some bad: 1. Not enough water stops. 2. Late water stops were disorganized. 3. Really crappy post-race food. 4. AWFUL bus ride back to the hotel.

  • Comments: Overall a good race. The hotel was a rip-off, but partly my fault for booking so late and having to pay for a 2-bdr suite. The small race is nice, and the course is flat but windy. Great spectator course, as I got to see Tim 8 times in 16 miles.

  • Comments: Lot more people this year than last year. Better weather. Missed packet pickup by about 10 minutes on Saturday and was still able to pick up number Sunday morning.

  • Comments: The race was organized. This was a small event so it lacks the crowd support and 'glamour' of the larger marathons. I was running by myself most of the time.
