Swim
Comments: Was 17th in the water with a time trial start. Kept it pretty easy and should have pushed it more. What would you do differently?: Swim harder Transition 1
Comments: Pretty good T1 time. Bike
Comments: The main competition in my AG came out of the water with me and he started about 15-20 seconds behind me. We leapfrogged through most of the bike course and I finally pushed it over the last couple of miles to try to get a gap to help on the run What would you do differently?: Should have pushed harder earlier....power was a little low. Transition 2
Comments: Another good transition Run
Comments: This is a tough course and a bit long. My AG competition passed me about 1/2 mile in and while I kept him close I could not quite seem to close the gap. He was a little faster on the run and that with starting behind me in the swim had him winning AG and me about 40 seconds back. Fun racing head to head like that. What would you do differently?: Needed to take advantage of the bike and didn't...ultimately couldn't hold him off on the run. Post race
Warm down: Sat down and visited with AG winner....we have raced twice and I won the first one but he got me this time. Always fun. Visited with family, friends and Team. Hung around for awards and enjoyed the beautiful setting and cold beverages. What limited your ability to perform faster: Not my best race but I left it out there Event comments: Awesome local race. Lots of strong racers in a beautiful setting. One of my favorites!! Last updated: 2015-06-02 12:00 AM
