First race back from an Achilles tear, so I took it easy on the bike and run. It was a smooth pace and I learned what I was capable of doing.

Again, first race back from the Achilles injury. My left calf is still substantially smaller than my right, so it was amazing to get out and run. I had a little cramping at the start but never had to walk. Things are only going to get better from here.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

9/14/2014 Achilles tear... came back and did a tri in less than a year.

This was a really enjoyable race. I hope it comes back after next year!
