Warm down: Water and walking around. What limited your ability to perform faster: Just more working out. I improved my time in all segments, even the transitions. Even with the swim being longer I swam it faster than previously. Event comments: The outer buoy was placed the day before in a storm. They should have set it in the morning when it was calm and got the distance correct. There were not enough paddleboarders/kayakers; they were looking for more volunteers just before the race.
