Pre-race routine:

Stayed at Marriott Conference center half mile from start/finish line. Very convenient. $119. Noon checkout so I headed back after the race, got a shower, packed up, and checked out before the awards started at 9:30 a.m.

Comments:

Self-seeding with signs for lining up every 15 seconds (e.g. 1:15/100 yd, 1:30/100 yd, 1:45/100 yd...). I started just ahead of the 1:30/100 yd sign just behind someone who felt their average would be 1:25/100 yd. Worked fine. Passed 3 swimmers on course. Did not get passed.

REV3 always puts on a fun, family-friendly event, and this was no exception. This event sold out (412 racers) and I got in by signing up on the waiting list and registering after a spot came open.
