  • Comments: Considering Rev3 wound up losing a bunch of their races to Ironman last year, I think they're still hanging on pretty well. That said, they're totally hanging on. No more names on the placards in transition, latex caps instead of silicone, unisex shirts, less swag, etc. They still run a pretty tight ship, and it was a wonderful day. Its just really sad that an organization that used to have so many events is now down to just three sprints. That clearly doesn't bring in enough revenue to add so much "pomp" to each event.

  • Comments: Rev3 puts on a great event. I've done a sprint at a larger weekend event before, but was surprised at the amount of "pomp" that this stand alone sprint event got. While the bike course wasn't the best for scenery, and the run was really lonely for spectators, it is still a nice race. Local (30 minute drive) and perfect for an early season tune up.

  • Comments: REV3 always puts on a fun, family-friendly event, and this was no exception. This event sold out (412 racers) and I got in by signing up on the waiting list and registering after a spot came open.

  • Comments: REV3 always puts on a great event. This was the first year they attempted the Virginia Sprint Series. It's not quite up to the REV3 standards established for their longer races, but that's probably appropriate. Overall, good job, REV3!

  • Comments: Race was good. Started late because of a mix-up with the numbers in transition. Other then that, no issues.

  • Comments: There was one water stop halfway on the run that you passed twice. I think it's enough for such a small race. They had a lot of volunteers and they were so friendly. The race was organized and the gym where we swam allowed access to shower afterwards.
