Comments:

Wasn't sure what to expect having just gone pretty hard in a triathlon the day before, and the day before that flying back in after a week of hiking in Colorado. Started off close to Clay, but quickly realized I wasn't going to be able to stay with him. Hit the 5k maker right at 20:00, and realized I wasn't going to be able to hold that, either. I was in for a rough 15k, but I refused to just jog it in. Tried to keep the pace hard, but not blow up. The late downhills were nice. Grabbed an icepop from a fan towards the end, because why not?
What would you do differently?:

I really had no business doing this race, to be honest. All things considered though, not a terrible performance.

Very cool race, I'll have to come back one year when I can actually give it my best!
