Pre-race routine:

ate a protein bar and some egg whites. Got my bike all ready the night before. Got to the event at 6 am for a 7:30 start. It was cold!

i loved the biking. I was passing people on hills left and right. (actually--mostly on the left ;-)) It was awesome! There were two other girls that we just kept competing against each other on the biking. We would pass each other constantly. It was fun.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe try and go a little harder up the hills..but those were killer! maybe toe warmers for cold bike rides.

I need to become a better runner...
