![]() Run
Comments: Decided to carry a deer park water bottle to start since I wasn't sure how many water stops there were. Worked out since the stops were kind of spread out. Had to walk some of the way up the big hil around mile 2-3 and then didn't walk again for the rest of the run. What would you do differently?: Train more on hills. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Grabbed a bottle of water and stretched with Brad. What limited your ability to perform faster: Work on more hill training. Event comments: This was the 98th running of this race and you could tell. It was organized and the crowd support was amazing! There were a lot of people standing at the end of their driveways cheering on the runners (with a beer in hand....probably a Genese....at 9am). There was a house on Main Street that had a keg on the front porch....they were wasted, but having the times of their lives cheering everyone on as they did the NYC Rockette's high kick! A great race that I'd do again! Last updated: 2006-11-19 12:00 AM

We woke up to downpours, but as we drove the hour to Berwick, it slowed down. We picked up our packets and it was still raining...YIKES!
By the time the race started, it stopped raining and it looked like the sun was trying to peek out.
Jumped up and down at the race start with Brad. :)
