Comments: For me this was a good run. I did the first mile in 10 minutes, then obviously slowed down after that. Had to walk the hilly section. Once I start walking, that's it - I have to keep walking after that. What would you do differently?: Try to run the whole way and not walk. Transition 1
What would you do differently?: I was tired and felt like puking after the run so I probably intentionally fiddled around with my shoes to get some rest. Bike
Comments: Didn't check my watch for T1 split or bike split. I was in the fat tire division so I rode my mountain bike. Clipless pedals were great - I am glad I got some. Started out feeling pretty good but then slowed down. Typical. For the last two months or more I've been mainly running and had not done a ride. This felt like a good ride taking that into consideration. What would you do differently?: Pacing, pacing, pacing. Transition 2

What limited your ability to perform faster: The fact that I weigh 225. I probably overdressed. It was so warm I could have worn my bike jersey and cycling shorts. Event comments: This was an enjoyable race. Well organized, fun. Last updated: 2006-12-09 12:00 AM
