  • Comments: THis is a 3 race series so I am in 3rd so far. The 2 guys that beat me were 1.2-2 minutes ahead of me. THe next 2 races are very different format so I hope I can make up ground.

  • Comments: We were lucky to hae such nice weather! Fun, low cost race. Great to see all the BT'ers out there, Susan, Ted, Drew, My wife!(Not on Bt) But here first chilly Cheeks. and of course Thomas. 3 races for 70 bucks!

  • Comments: Love this series because it is so low-key and everyone is having fun. Darrin and Jill are great! Surprised to have ranked so well in my AG -- looking forward to trying to move up in the next 2 races.

  • Comments: Great race. Good test. I definitely left it all on the course for this one. I had nothing left in the gas tank. Of all the guys that beat me, 11 of them ran in the 7:30 to 7 min pace. The rest were under 7 min mile pace. Lot's of fast runners out here! Obviously I know what I need to work on this year. I've got to get some run speed. I'm not happy being middle of the pack, but I gave it all I had today.

  • Comments: In retrospect I'm happy with the race. Despite the crappy bits it was great getting to hang out with everyone. I had a lot of fun. I've got a swollen knee, hip, and some mild shoulder pain. But It's not as bad as it looks.

  • Comments: This is such a great winter series race! For $60 bucks, you get to do 3 races! Tech shirt, hammer product samples. Just plain cold and fun. It was a huge BT turn out. THat was awesome. too many to name but you know who you are. Great to have lunch with all of you too. Alright let's give it a go. Me, Dickdime, Sergeant Vik, triathlonfun, outdoorsgirl1976, regimon, drewb8, tyra, sbreaux, mtnskibum, numberwoman, blackbud, ben, kilodave, and I think that is it.

  • Comments: I love this race series. It is a great motivational tool to keep me on my bike during the winter months. I also enjoy racing Mark. The competition is always good (like any Colorado race) and the spirit of the event is top notch. Also, there are now so many BTers coming out that it makes it a great social gathering as well. Word to the Dills: I'm coming to get you... I did get 20 points in this race leaving you down 2 to the Dime... I'm going to be faster next month... you better be ready to race! Note: the race director made a race day decision to make the bike "optional" because of the road conditions. This meant that even though the bike was timed, series points were only awarded based off of the run. Because of this, I won all of the first place points. Dillard won second place points. The pressure is on Dills in Chilly Cheeks Two!

  • Comments: Too cold to hang out afterwards even tho we had no choice cuz we couldn't leave. Race folks were great and we tried to help them pack up while waiting for the locksmith who didn't know where Cherry Ck Res was. Was hoping to hang out w/ BTers since for once we didn't have to race off to something else, but .... Maybe next week!!

  • Comments: There was only one water station which was at the 2 mile marker, but that seems to be just right. Good race overall.
