Run
Comments: It was a fun race. Lots of people, but it thinned out at 4-5 miles. The weather couldn't of been better. At the end, Heather decided to kick my butt and started picking up the pace. That wasn't fun. Overall it was a good race. What would you do differently?: Train more. Heather and I kept up with the long runs, but our speed work froze with the icy weather (I <3 puns). Post race
Warm down: Walked to the expo and saw the food line. So, we walked back to our hotel, showered and meet up with some more BTers at Brittish Beer Company. What limited your ability to perform faster: Training Event comments: It was a good race and a great weekend. I'm glad I got to meet up with some of the people here, even just for a quick hello. The main point of this race was to keep me and Heather running through the winter. We did and we had a good day out there too. Can't ask for more. :) Last updated: 2006-12-30 12:00 AM

Heather picked me up from a work reunion in Boston and we drove to the Cape and got to Hyannis at 4:45. We got our race packets and checked into our hotel. I would recommend the Hyannis Travel Inn to anyone. The hotel itself is nothing special, in fact they don't have water at breakfast?, but you can walk to town.
Heather and I had dinner at Fazio's where we ran into the BT crew enjoying the food. Morning was usual, just up dressed ate some breakfast and walked to the hotel. We waited in line for the bathrooms, and headed over to the race start. We ran into Scott, his wife (sorry I can't remember her name), Joanne and Glen. Turns out we just missed the group picture with Max.
Doh!
